BRIEFING SESSION ON THE POLICY FOR THE MANAGEMENT AND FORFEITED ASSETS WITH THE PAHANG STATE SECRETARY

KUANTAN, 13 April 2026 – The National Anti-Financial Crime Centre (NFCC), led by YBhg. Dato’ Sri Shamshun Baharin, Director General of the NFCC, together with YBrs. Tuan Ahmad Sazilee bin Abdul Khairi, Deputy Director General of the NFCC, and senior NFCC officers, conducted a briefing session on the Policy for the Management of Seized and Forfeited Assets, as well as proposed amendments to the National Anti-Financial Crime Centre Act 2019 [Act 822]. The briefing was presented to YB Dato’ Hajah Aida Munira binti Abdul Rafar, Director of Lands and Mines of Pahang, representing the State Secretary of Pahang, and was also attended by representatives of top management from various Pahang state agencies.

The briefing aimed to provide a detailed explanation of the policy framework for managing seized and forfeited assets under the jurisdiction of the National Anti-Financial Crime Centre (NFCC). The session also served as a consultation platform for the proposed amendments to Act 822, which are expected to have an impact on asset administration at the state level.
