INTEGRITY AND ANTI-CORRUPTION CARNIVAL (KIARA) FOR MALAYSIAN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION STUDENTS 2026

CYBERJAYA, 18 April 2026 – The National Anti-Financial Crime Centre (NFCC) participated as an exhibitor at the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Carnival (KIARA) for Malaysian Higher Education Institution Students 2026, organised by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC). The programme was held at Dewan Tun Canselor, Multimedia University (MMU), Cyberjaya.

The programme was officiated by the Honourable Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir, Minister of Higher Education. NFCC’s participation as an exhibitor aimed to introduce the functions of the NFCC and to raise awareness among visitors regarding the 997 hotline. A total of 318 visitors attended the NFCC booth to obtain information related to online scam crimes and the role of the National Scam Response Centre (NSRC).

The programme aimed to enhance students’ understanding of the importance of cultivating integrity while also increasing awareness of corruption prevention and financial crime prevention among the younger generation across various higher education institutions.
