HATA COURTESY VISIT TO NFCC – STRENGTHENING NATIONAL DIGITAL ASSET MANAGEMENT

PUTRAJAYA, 21 July 2026 – HATA paid a courtesy visit to the National Anti-Financial Crime Centre (NFCC) as part of efforts to strengthen strategic cooperation in the governance of the nation’s digital ecosystem.

During the meeting, HATA presented a high-impact proposal to consider the Centralised Storage and Custody of all seized digital assets. The proposed establishment of a National Digital Asset Storage System aims to ensure that digital assets are managed with the highest levels of security, transparency and compliance with established standards, thereby strengthening the integrity and security of Malaysia’s digital financial ecosystem.
