MALAYSIAN ISLAMIC CONSUMERS ASSOCIATION (PPIM) NATIONAL ANTI-SCAM AWARENESS PROGRAMME

KUALA LUMPUR, 20 August 2026 – Director-General of the National Financial Crime Centre (NFCC), YBhg. Dato' Sri Shamshun Baharin bin Mohd Jamil, attended as guest of honour at the Launch of the National Anti-Scam Awareness Programme organised by the Malaysian Islamic Consumers Association (PPIM), which was officiated by the Minister of Communications, YB Dato' Seri Fahmi Fadzil.

Distinguished further by his contribution, the Director-General of the NFCC joined as a panellist in the National Forum titled *"Digital Scams: Threats to National Financial Security & Money Mules"*.

Initiatives of this nature not only elucidate the mission and functions of the NFCC, but also foster collective awareness and understanding among the public to safeguard our national financial ecosystem and prevent individuals from becoming victims or money mules for fraudulent syndicates.
