NSRC TOP MANAGEMENT MEETING NO. 1/2026

CYBERJAYA, 23 July 2026 – The National Scam Response Centre (NSRC) Top Management Meeting No. 1/2026 was chaired by YBhg. Dato’ Haji Abdul Halim bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Deputy Secretary-General (Security), Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA).

The meeting was also attended by the Director of the Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID), YDH CP Dato’ Rusdi Mohd Isa; Director General of the National Anti-Financial Crime Centre (NFCC), YBhg. Dato’ Sri Shamshun Baharin bin Mohd Jamil, as well as representatives from the NSRC’s lead agency, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), together with representatives from NSRC partner agencies, namely Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), Securities Commission Malaysia (SC), Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM), Credit Counselling and Management Agency (AKPK), Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN), and CyberSecurity Malaysia (CSM).

The meeting, among other matters, discussed commitments and initiatives to strengthen coordination, integrated action and the delivery of more effective public awareness messages in efforts to protect the public from the increasingly widespread threat of scams.
