PARIT, PERAK, 12 September 2026 – The National Financial Crime Centre (NFCC) launched its 2026 MADANI Adopted Village initiative in Kampung Lengkuas, Parit, Perak. The ceremony was officiated by NFCC Director-General YBhg. Dato’ Sri Shamshun Baharin bin Mohd Jamil alongside the District Officer of Perak Tengah and local community leaders.

Delivered via a Whole-of-Government approach, the initiative carried out essential infrastructure upgrades, including enhancements to the local mosque, community hall, village roads, solar street lighting installations, and the construction of a new village landmark to improve community wellbeing.

The occasion was further enlivened by the MADANI Adopted School & Community Archives Carnival, celebrating the preservation of local heritage and historical documentation through school-government-community partnerships.

Additionally, attendees were reminded to remain vigilant against cyber scam threats and to swiftly contact the 997 National Scam Response Centre hotline if compromised.
