PILOT DEPLOYMENT SCAMORA & CLOSING CEREMONY SCAMORA EVENT

PUTRAJAYA, 21 November 2025 – National Anti-Financial Crime Centre (NFCC) organised the Scamora Pilot Deployment Session and Closing Ceremony, which was attended by all NFCC personnel. The session began with welcoming remarks by the NFCC Senior Director, followed by a presentation delivered by Mr. Leo Chen Wai Yang from Leogics Solutions Sdn. Bhd.

The Scamora project, introduced through MyHackathon 2024 Cohort 2 organised by MOSTI, Cradle and MyVentures, was selected as the winner under the financial scam prevention theme and developed by Leogics Solutions. Scamora is an AI-powered mobile application designed to enhance public awareness of financial fraud by consolidating various agency initiatives within a single, integrated ecosystem. The programme related to this project was implemented in collaboration with Leogics Solutions Sdn. Bhd., including an internal onboarding session at NFCC held on 24 September 2025, followed by the launch of the Scamora Programme, which ran for three weeks until 15 October 2025. The onboarding session aimed to test the functionality and usability of the application and gather feedback from NFCC staff. The pilot deployment programme marked the completion of internal testing, during which the application was refined based on evaluation results; it also served as the symbolic closing of the Scamora Programme and the presentation of prizes to the winners. The programme further focused on discussions between the Director-General and representatives of the MyHackathon 2024 organisers (MOSTI, Cradle, MyVentures) regarding the future direction of Scamora.
