PUTRA FM RAKAN RANCANGAN PROGRAMME: NFCC COORDINATION WITH CCID, PDRM AND FBMK, UPM

SERI KEMBANGAN, 30 July 2026 – The third series of the Rakan Rancangan programme, produced by Putra FM in collaboration with the National Anti-Financial Crime Centre (NFCC), Prime Minister’s Department, the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), and the Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID), Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), was successfully conducted.

The public awareness session featured Supt. Nur Asrul bin Ariff, Head of the Property Crime Investigation Unit, CCID, PDRM, who shared insights into the latest trends and modus operandi of increasingly prevalent online scam syndicates.

During the session, he highlighted how scam syndicates increasingly exploit emotions and fear to intimidate victims through various forms of threats. In addition to recognising early warning signs of scams and using official verification channels, he stressed that victims must act swiftly and lodge a report within the first 24 hours, as prompt action is critical in assisting the authorities in disrupting scam syndicates.

NFCC extends its appreciation to everyone who tuned in via FM90.7 and Putra FM’s Facebook Live. It is hoped that the session will contribute towards enhancing public awareness of online scams.
