WORKSHOP ON THE MANAGEMENT OF SEIZED AND FORFEITED ASSETS: GOVERNANCE AND FINANCE

PUTRAJAYA, 15–17 July 2026 – The National Anti-Financial Crime Centre (NFCC), in collaboration with the Trust Asset Management Division, Ministry of Finance Malaysia (MOF) and the Accounts Division, Prime Minister’s Department (JPM), successfully organised the Workshop on the Management of Seized and Forfeited Assets: Governance and Finance.

The three-day workshop brought together 25 officers from NFCC, MOF and JPM to discuss, review and finalise proposals relating to the management mechanisms for seized and forfeited assets, in line with the implementation of NFCC’s new functions. The workshop also focused on enhancing financial policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure the smooth implementation of the system.

The workshop also served as a platform to support the establishment of a more efficient, transparent and integrity-driven national asset management system.
