KNOWLEDGE-SHARING PROGRAMME WITH THE KEDAH STATE LAND AND MINES OFFICE

Alor Setar, 20 April – NFCC conducted a knowledge-sharing session led by YBhg. Dato' Sri Shamshun Baharin Bin Mohd Jamil, Director-General of NFCC, together with senior NFCC officers, with YBrs. Puan Zulfatul Husna binti Zakaria, Deputy Director of the Kedah State Land and Mines Office.

The objective of this knowledge-sharing session was to establish a platform for NFCC and the State Government to exchange views regarding the vesting of immovable property applied for by enforcement agencies to the Federal Lands Commissioner, as well as to address related issues. In this regard, NFCC provided a briefing on its role in managing seized and forfeited assets, followed by a briefing from the Kedah State Land and Mines Office on the procedures for executing vesting applications by enforcement agencies, and issues arising, including land that has been exempted from the application of the National Land Code under subsection 4(2) of the National Land Code 1965 [Act 828].
